THE NORTH, a self-described country-stained rock ‘n roll band hailing from King City, take pride in the fact their music is not easily pigeon-holed. Last summer the band recorded 12 new, original tracks in the U.K. designed to appeal to a wide audience. Now, as the band performs live, fans respond to Bernadette’s sultry, bluesy tones in “What’s My Name?” and appreciate the country spirit of “Heartland.”
Full band backup on the whimsical “No Money Anthem” sets a different, fuller vocal sound and “Radio‘s” lyrics are ironic given its deliberate commercial sound.
THE NORTH just independently released its Self-Titled LP, co-produced by Francis Rossi & Moe Berg. Its available as CD ( see the "NORTH-Shop" ), aswell on iTunes.
They invite you to listen to their songs or, better still,
see them live at an upcoming gig.
